Importance of Incidence Reporting

Reporting an incidence is important due to various factors. It helps us

  • Gain insights into the challenges and other potential risks
  • Create a culture based on improvement and knowledge-sharing
  • Create better processes, procedures and safety measures
  • Ensuring a safer workplace that benefits all staff and participants

Incidents That You Should Report

A few examples of incidents that you should report include:-

Serious Incidents resulting in harm or potential harm for all disability participants

  • Tracking the behaviour of participants
  • Staff injury

  • Reporting an OHS hazard
